Among Us has been popular since its debut in the summer of 2018, bringing friends and strangers alike together for social deduction via their mobile devices, PC, and consoles. Today during the Summer Game Fest, Innersloth the creators of the multiplayer game revealed a brand new single player experience is coming called Among Us Story: On Guard.
In this new narrative-driven experience, players will join as a new crewmate in a training program that takes them on the Guard role. The guard is the security for the ship, responsible for ensuring the crew reaches the destination safely. As the franchise is famous for, this does not go to plan when a murder happens aboard the vessel, and it’s now the player’s job to investigate and prevent any additional deaths.
Among Us Story: On Guard is planned for release on PC and Nintendo Switch. You can preorder the game on Steam right now, with the official release date to be announced. You can watch the reveal trailer below.
