Looks like Marvel’s upcoming reboot of Blade, starring Mahershala Ali, has found a director in Bassam Tariq.
The Daywalker is inching ever closer to coming back to the big screen. Deadline is reporting that Marvel has chosen Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli), in a search that involved both Feige and Ali, to helm Blade‘s reboot.
With Stacy Osei-Kuffour handling the script, it really sounds like all the pieces for the film are falling into place. Hopefully this means we’ll be seeing it sooner rather than later. The film was announced during SDCC 2019, but still doesn’t have a release date. Hopefully that’ll change soon.
