As previously reported, Beetlejuice was confirmed by Warner Brothers during CinemaCon and now we have a release date of Sept. 6, 2024! Warner Brothers also announced the movie will star Jenna Ortega and that the script has been written by Wednesday’s creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.
As said in our previous post, Michael Keaton will be back as Beetlejuice and it looks like, as we guessed, Winona Ryder might return as well since Ortega will be playing her daughter in the film. Tim Burton will have some big shoes to fill since his original film was such a cult classic. I believe the film could be great, though, especially with the help of Gough and Millar’s writing and Wednesday’s success via Netflix. Check back here soon for more news!
