Check out all the details of Marvel’s return to Hall H at San Diego Comic Con, along with the surprise announcement of Black Panther 3.
Marvel finally returned to Hall H at San Diego Comic Con after skipping it for a few years, and fans camped out for days ahead of time to get a glimpse of what they showed. They brought the party for an assortment of reveals and announcements, along with celebrating their upcoming releases.
The panel started with a “Mega panel” of the cast behind the upcoming Avengers Doomsday hosted by Kevin Feige. The mega panel started with the introduction of directors Anthony and Joe Russo, followed by cast Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Simu Liu, James Marsden, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn and Tenoch Huerta Mejia.
A slight surprise announcement was Hayley Atwell taking the stage to confirm she will be appearing again as Peggy Carter.
For the lucky few people that got to be in the room with them, they got an exclusive early look at the upcoming film, along with dawning the Doom mask and Cloak.

As if there weren’t enough stars on the stage, Jon Bernthal then took the stage to talk about some new Spider-Man: Brand New Day footage. This was slightly shocking as it was expected that Marvel wouldn’t be discussing Sony related films.
And for the big finale:
“Black Panther 3”
To cap off the Hall H celebration with one more thing, Feige welcomed Academy Award® winner Ryan Coogler (“Black Panther,” “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Sinners”) to the stage. Coogler, who returns to Marvel Studios to direct “Black Panther 3,” then brought out Letitia Wright and Winston Duke who confirmed the film will arrive in theaters on December 15, 2028. In a surprising and emotional moment, Coogler revealed that David Jonsson (“Alien: Romulus,” “Industry”) is the new Black Panther.
In a more comedic moment, Ryan Reynolds was shown to be in the audience the whole time in a grey Deadpool suit. He then took the stage and joked that he would “appreciate a role in the film” also.
Another surprise was that Avengers: Endgame will return to theater in September with brand new footage.
“2019 was a very long time ago,” Feige told the crowd. “The world’s a different place. But reminding all of us what it was like to be in that theater, cheering along and enjoying that crazy enthusiasm, is why we’re rereleasing Avengers: Endgame on September 25.”
