Marvel blew the roof off at San Diego Comic Con for their Hall H return, and then set it on fire.
We didn’t know what all to expect on the highly anticipated return of Marvel to San Diego Comic Con in Hall H, but they didn’t disapoint to say the least. Beyond bringing on basically the entire cast of their upcoming film, they also had some sweet announcements.
The first of those announcements is the return of Ghost Rider, and leading the role is Ryan Gosling. Shawn Levy, director of Star Wars Starfighter and Deadpool and Wolverine, will be taking over the directors role.
The character Johnny Blaze hasn’t really had any time to be part of the ongoing Marvel Cinamatic Universe after two rather duds starring Nicolas Cage.

Feige revealed breaking news during the presentation, announcing that Marvel Studios has started work on a new “Ghost Rider” film as he welcomed star Ryan Gosling (“Project Hail Mary,” “Star Wars: Starfighter”) and director Shawn Levy (“Deadpool & Wolverine,” “Star Wars: Starfighter”) to the stage. Hall H erupted in applause as the duo introduced the new film, which is set to release in theaters in 2028. Jonathan Tropper (“Star Wars: Starfighter,” “Your Friends & Neighbors”) is writing the script.
The movie is scheduled to release in 2028.
