A stunning new poster has been released for the upcoming film Oppenheimer.
A new poster has been revealed for the upcoming film Oppenheimer, which focuses on the life of the titular character as he works to develop the atomic bomb along with all the ramifications that come with such an accomplishment.
In this new poster, Cillian Murphy, who plays Oppenheimer, stands in front of the prototype of the bomb that was used in the Trinity test, the culmination of everything the Manhattan Project had worked toward. It’s a haunting image of how helping to create the bomb loomed (literally and metaphorically) over Oppenheimer for the rest of his life. It will be interesting to see how the film addresses this subject.
Oppenheimer comes to theaters on July 21, 2023.
