Marvel has released one final trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, teasing more action, higher stakes, and family charisma.
Honestly, I didn’t need another trailer for The Fantastic Four. Even though my initial interest in the film was so-so (I’ve never been big on the FF in general), the first and second trailers kicked my hype into high gear. Somehow, this final trailer manages to bring the excitement up another notch.
I love everything going on here. From the tension and genuine stakes you can feel; especially as we see Reed struggling to grapple with this new threat. On top of that, I love the dynamic between these characters and how they feel authentic, despite their fantastical powers/abilities. This trailer does a solid job of balancing both of these elements while still holding back on giving it all away. This is gonna be a good one.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters on July 25, 2025.
