As promised, the first trailer for the upcoming Star Wars live-action series, The Acolyte, has arrived; teasing stellar action and looming threats.
Pretty much sense it’s initial announcement, The Acolyte has been among my most anticipated Star Wars things. The promise of a new time period (set in The High Republic), combined with a focus on the Dark Side, and martial arts to boot? It felt like a dream come true.
Now, the first (public) trailer has arrived and it seems like all that hype is justified…and perhaps understated:
