New The Mandalorian Toys Revealed, Wallets Cry

As part of a new Mando Monday initiative from Lucasfilm, several new toys for The Mandalorian have been revealed, several up for pre-order today!

This morning, Disney and Lucasfilm announced Mando Mondays, an all-new global consumer products, games and publishing program. The whole thing officially kicks off on October 26th, days ahead of The Mandalorian season 2 premiere on Disney+. But Hasbro is bringing the goods even earlier and have revealed several new products that will be available for pre-order later today.

First up are the ones I’m looking forward to most: new Black Series figures! These look absolutely incredible. Combining the old-school styled packaging (normally found in the Vintage Collection) along with new paint on the figures to make them based off of the concept art we see at the end of each episode. Even though these are essentially repacks, it’s a neat way to hook collectors and I can’t wait to get my hands on them.

Next up are some more The Vintage Collection figures, which are getting the “Carbonized” treatment that was previously only on certain Black Series figures. While I’ve slowed way down on 3.75-inch toy collecting, I’ve been a sucker for the Carbonized line and glad to see it continue in different ways.

Of course we always need more toys based on the Child! This is the second series for “The Bounty” collection, which recreates more adorable moments in a cartoon style. I loved the first series of these (the compact size makes for easy display options) and very eager to check these out.

Last, but not least, is a new Mandalorian themed Monopoly! This will be available on October 1st:

Imagine traveling around a dangerous galaxy where Imperial enemies threaten the safety of The Child, the character fans call “Baby Yoda”. In the MONOPOLY STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN Edition edition board game, players can play as The Mandalorian, Cara Dune, IG-11, or Kuiil. Getting The Child token lets players enhance their character’s special ability and use The Child’s unique ability. Buy hideouts, win battles, and earn Imperial credits. The player with the most Imperial credits wins, but be vigilant! If an Imperial enemy gets The Child, the game’s over for everyone!

All the rest of the toys are slated to arrive this Fall and, thankfully, pre-orders for them are starting this afternoon. Which of these are you looking forward to picking up most?
