Nicole Kassell to Direct ‘She-Ra’ Live-Action Series at Amazon

The live-action She-Ra series currently in development has found a director for its pilot episode.

After it was revealed last September that a live-action She-Ra series was in the works at Amazon, news about the series went relatively silent, until now. It’s been revealed that Nicole Kassell has been chosen to direct and executive produce the pilot episode of the She-Ra series should development proceed to that point.

Kassell has quite the resume, as she’s previously directed episodes of Watchmen, Westworld, The Leftovers, The Americans and Castle Rock.

Plot details on the live-action series remain few and far between, but it has been made clear that this will be a standalone series with no connection to the previous She-Ra animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

Hopefully the She-Ra series does see the light of day, as this would be the first adaptation of She-Ra to take place in live-action.

Are you excited to see Nicole Kassell step up as a director for She-Ra?
