Raise Your Banners for the Official House of the Dragon Season 2 Trailer

HBO has revealed the full trailer for House of the Dragon season two, showing off more stunning footage and specifics on the June premiere.

If one fantasy TV series trailer wasn’t enough for you, today brings a fresh look at House of the Dragon‘s next season…and it’s pretty intense. Considering how amazing the first season turned out to be (when I really wasn’t expecting much), my hype for this new season is at an all time high:

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.

Season two returning cast: Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. Additional returning cast includes Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, and Matthew Needham.

Season two new cast: Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon Strong, Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark, and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.

House of the Dragon season two premieres on Sunday, June 16th at 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT. It will be on both HBO and streaming on Max simultaneously (like they did with the previous season). Get your affairs in order for a stacked month of TV.
