First Expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 Revealed, Coming in 2023

During their latest Night City Wire presentation, CD Projekt Red, revealed the first expansion for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Cyberpunk 2077 fans have more to look forward to. On top of the new anime series coming next week on Netflix, today brings word on the game’s first expansion, Phantom Liberty.

Even better, following the debut of that trailer during the presentation, a special video message from Keanu Reeves came on, where the actor confirmed he’ll be reprising the role of Johnny Silverhand in the upcoming expansion. I mean, it’s hard to say no to more Keanu content.

Introduced by Game Director Gabe Amatangelo, a sneak peek trailer showed off a glimpse into the expansion before confirming its title, Phantom Liberty. Amatangelo confirmed that a new cast of characters will be introduced in Phantom Liberty — who V will come into contact with inside a new location within Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is scheduled to release in 2023 for PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
