Halo Infinite players will finally get some new content to play.

Season 2 will begin May 3 and 343 Industries said players can expect new maps, modes, limited-time events and a never-expiring new Battle Pass.

Developers released a blog post yesterday on the “Season 1 Outcomes” to discuss the feedback they received about the game’s PvP aspects including the Battle Pass, challenges, rewards and more.

You can read the full blog post here, but I’m going to share the takeaways in the areas 343 has outlined:

In the shop, bundles will have more consistent value across “different offerings,” developers wrote.

When it comes to the Battle Pass and progression, they said the free track in season 2 will have more customization content than the first season, players will be able to earn 1000 CR in the S2 Premium Battle Pass, continued improvements for weekly challenges, and that Ultimate Rewards will include higher value cosmetics such as visors, coatings, and stances, and will exclude emblems or backdrops.

Developers are aiming to address stability issues with Theater & Observer as well as issues caused by viewing multiple films in a row and problems that arise when observing multiple matches in a row.
