Ubisoft Creative Director Teases Star Wars Game News This Year

At the start of this year, Ubisoft Creative Director Julian Gerighty took to Twitter to wish everyone a Happy New Year, but in his tweet was a mention of Ubisoft’s long-awaited Star Wars game.

The tweet, which you can see below, said that “2023 is going to be a huge year for us” and to “Join the adventure”.

Now, you might be wondering why we’re even writing an article about a tweet. Normally, we wouldn’t unless it was something official, but since this game was announced in 2021 news has been scarce. So yeah, we’ll take what we can get.

All we know about the Massive Games Star Wars title is that it’s VERY ambitious. The scope of the game is similar to that of No Man’s Sky, but set in the Star Wars galaxy far, far away. However, we have yet to see any footage or even a trailer.

So, after this tweet some speculated we could get this game in 2023. However, I surmise 2023 will be the year we actually get news, trailers, and an actual start to a campaign for Ubisoft’s Star Wars game.

Which will it be? A full release or lots of hype and updates? We’ll know as the 2023 year goes on. Stay tuned.
