The Star Wars Wampa Rug takes the iconic creature from The Empire Strikes Back and turns him into a rug. I know, it seems a little barbaric, but it’s actually pretty damn cool. Several years back, I actually stopped collecting Star Wars toys. I know, it seems crazy, but there was a stretch of time where the toys didn’t interest me.

Instead, I changed the focus of my collection to be on various household/decor items. Even now, as I’ve been back on toy collecting for a bit, I love picking up these type of things. I love having unique ways to show off my love for Star Wars beyond displaying toys; especially stuff that can blend in with the rest of your house.

As such, I was very excited to get my hands on this Wampa Rug. While it originally launched a little bit ago, it’s been out of stock pretty much everywhere (unless you want to pay ungodly prices). Thankfully, it’s back in stock and ready for fans on Fun.com.

They were kind enough to send one my way and I have to say, it’s way better than I expected. It looks cool on the floor and fits perfectly in my Star Wars office, tying it all together in a fun way. And yeah, it’s surprisingly soft and comfortable. Comfy to the point of my youngest daughter taking it over completely.

If you’ve been wanting to snag one for yourself, now is the perfect time. Hell, even if you’re looking for a last minute Christmas gift, this should work out excellently. They shipped this out to me in just a few days, so if you get on it quickly, you should have it in time to plop under the tree!
