Two New Obi-Wan Kenobi Inspired Black Series Figures Revealed

A pair of new Black Series figures based on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series have been revealed, and coming exclusively to Target.

Hasbro, via our buds at Star Wars News Network, have revealed a pair of new figures this morning. Both are set to launch this Fall exclusively at Target (trust me, I’m not thrilled either) and bring some “new” looks based on characters from Obi-Wan Kenobi.

STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES COMMANDER APPO

STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the STAR WARS galaxy with this premium 6-inch STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES COMMANDER APPO figure, inspired by the character’s appearance in the STAR WARS: OBI-WAN KENOBI live-action series. A Clone Trooper in service to the Galactic Republic, Appo participated in several critical battles against the Separatists. He accompanied Anakin Skywalker to Coruscant’s Jedi Temple as part of Order 66. Fans and collectors can display this fully articulated figure featuring premium detail and multiple points of articulation in their collection. Includes figure and 3 entertainment-inspired accessories including a removable helmet.

STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES DARTH VADER (DUEL’S END)

STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the STAR WARS galaxy with this premium 6-inch STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES DARTH VADER (DUEL’S END) figure, inspired by the character’s appearance in the STAR WARS: OBI-WAN KENOBI live-action series. As the momentous battle between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi nears its end, Kenobi peers past the armored visage of his former apprentice to see what Anakin Skywalker has become. Fans and collectors can display this fully articulated figure featuring premium battle-damaged deco and multiple points of articulation in their collection. Includes figure and Lightsaber accessory.

The sculpt on this Vader is ridiculously impressive. The battle damaged helmet and details underneath look great. While it seems like we have more than enough Vader figures in this line, at least this tries something a bit different and looks excellent in the process.

Pre-orders on both of these figures will go live at Target on July 14th at 9am ET.
