Interview with Gray Bear Comics

Resident gamer, and all-around nerd, Katy Barber of Cinelinx and The Fathergamer Podcast got a chance to sit down with Justin Corbett, and George Tripsas of Gray Bear Comics, a newly formed comic book company out of Houston, Texas.

Justin and George were at Brazos Valley Comic Con, a local convention to Bryan/College Station, Texas to promote their 2nd issue of Speak No Evil which just finished a successful campaign on the popular crowdfunding site, Kickstarter.

They currently have 5 issues written and will be starting up new crowdfunding campaigns in the near future.  For now, loyal kickstarter fans can expect issue 2 in December of this year.  For everyone else they are looking at January through local conventions in the Houston area.

Speak No Evil is a story of two brothers that find an abandoned cabin where HP Lovecraft and Nikola Tesla had experimented with portal creation.

The brothers stumble upon the equipment, inadvertently reactivating the portal. Once they learned how to control it they used the equipment to extort villagers out of their money, claiming they can send the demons back.
