MSI Launches their Alpha 15 Gaming Laptop This Month

This month, MSI will launch the Alpha 15, marking the first time a gaming laptop has incorporated a 7nm graphics card, AMD’s Radeon RX 5500M.

One of the things that always seems to be on a gamer’s holiday wish list, is a solid gaming laptop. The ability to take your favorite games anywhere, without compromising on quality, is an exciting possibility. Unfortunately, most gaming laptops tend to be quite expensive, but MSI has launched the Alpha 15 to help out.

Coming in right at $1,000, the Alpha 15 manages to come in at one of the smaller gaming laptop price points, while still managing to deliver on a great experience with impressive graphics.

Alpha 15 is packed with AMD Radeon RX 5500M, the first-ever 7nm gaming graphics card, a Ryzen 7 processor, and FidelityFX technology to deliver triple-digit framerates and enhanced 1080p visuals without compromising the performance. Gamers will also enjoy a smoother, tear-free and stutter-free experience thanks to the 15.6 inch, 144Hz FreeSync display.

“Consumers turn to MSI when looking to upgrade their gaming experience because we understand their needs,” said Charles Chiang, MSI’s Global CEO. “Alpha 15 offers the powerful performance that serious gamers expect from us, but at a lower price point, and gives consumers more options when looking for a laptop they can rely on. Inspired by the rising wings of a thunderbird, which represent strength, innovation and prosperity; we designed a logo for this unique category, and are excited to introduce Alpha 15, the perfect addition for gamers, and the first of its kind.”

Ready to withstand the most intense gaming sessions and projects, Alpha 15’s performance is enhanced by MSI proprietary Cooler Boost 5. The 7-heatpipe fan with AMD’s SmartShift Technology balances CPU and GPU cooling simultaneously.

Designed for gamers looking for an immersive audio experience, Alpha 15’s Dynaudio Giant Speaker has a chamber five times bigger than traditional gaming laptops. Taking up almost a quarter of the chassis, the speaker system pumps out impressive surround sound at higher volumes and with better clarity without sacrificing bass. The Alpha 15 also boasts high resolution audio for those who prefer to wear headphones.
