Fans of Qi’Ra and Crimson Dawn will soon get the chance to see more of Qi’Ra’s backstory in a new novel from E.K. Johnston
It was announced on Twitter yesterday that a new novel titled Star Wars: Crimson Climb is on the way from E.K. Johnston, best known for her previous novels Ahsoka and the Queen’s Shadow series. Details are limited, but the announcement came with a reveal of the book’s cover that you can see below, as well as an October 2023 release date:
The only detail confirmed for sure about Star Wars: Crimson Climb is that it will delve more into Qi’Ra’s backstory which, while increasingly fleshed out in the comics, remains largely a mystery. Personally, I hope the book picks up after Qi’Ra’s conversation with Maul at the end of Solo, I would love to see those two characters interact.
