Sony Brings Spider-Men to CinemaCon

Sony’s presentation at this year’s CinemaCon brought fresh looks at both Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse!

This year’s CinemaCon is in full swing (though sadly I wasn’t able to make the trip this year), and Sony took the main stage last night to help kick it all off with some updates on various projects. Notably, however, Spidey fans got some goodies. While attendees were treated to some footage from the upcoming live-action and animated films, the rest of us weren’t left entirely high and dry.

Sony dropped a pair of new posters for Brand New Day. One featuring the villainous Hand-ninjas, and the other that calls back to previous Spider-Man movie posters:

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.

Even better, however, we’ve got a fresh look at Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse thanks to four gorgeous new images, our first real synopsis, and the announcement it’s being developed in the 1:43:1 IMAX format.

Hunted by Miguel O’Hara’s Spider Society and betrayed by his friends, Miles finds himself in the darkest corners of the Spider-Verse in search of a way home. Knowing that his family has been not only fractured but endangered by his calling, it’s a race against the clock for Miles to travel across the wildest reaches of time and space to fight for and reunite everything he holds most dear.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31, 2026, and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse arrives on June 18, 2027.
