This morning brings word of yet another actor joining the cast of the upcoming Star Wars live-action series, The Acolyte!
Casting on The Acolyte conintues to chug along as it nears the start of production. Recently, we’ve heard of Jodie Turner-Smith and Lee Jung-jae signing up for Leslye Headland’s upcoming Star Wars show, and this morning brings yet another.
Deadline is reporting that Manny Jacinto, best known from his role on The Good Place (along with Top Gun: Maverick, and Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu), has signed up to also star in the show. As has always been the case so far, no details on who he’ll be playing. Considering the show takes place during the latter days of The High Republic, it seems like a safe bet to assume all of these are new characters.
Filming on The Acolyte is set to begin next month!
