Ahead of its May 31st premiere, the CW has released the first trailer for the upcoming spinoff series Tom Swift.
After revealing the first teaser images for the series, the CW has followed up by releasing the official trailer for the upcoming Nancy Drew spinoff series Tom Swift. The series follows Tian Richards as the titular character, a brilliant inventor with access to unlimited resources.

Tom Swift will star Tian Richards in the titular role along with Riverdale alum Ashleigh Murray as Tom’s best friend Zenzi. In addition to Murray and Richards, Tom Swift will star Marquise Vilsón (The Kitchen, Blindspot) as Tom’s bodyguard Isaac, and April Parker Jones (Supergirl, Bel-Air) as Tom’s mom Lorraine. LeVar Burton (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Reading Rainbow) voices Barclay, Tom’s AI.
Tian Richard’s Tom Swift was first introduced in season 2 of Nancy Drew and originated as a novel series that dates back to 1910 with over 100 volumes in the series.
