New Gotham Knights Trailer Spotlights Robin Gameplay

This time it’s Barbra Gordon aka Batgirl in the open-world RPG set in Gotham City. Batgirl and the Gotham Knights, including Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, are the “new guard” that step up in the wake of Batman’s death.

“A highly trained fighter and expert computer coder and hacker, Batgirl brings both brawn and brains to the team of knights. Using her signature weapon, the tonfa, along with a fierce combination of kickboxing, capoeira and jiu-jitsu, Batgirl can swiftly take down powerful foes twice her size. With dangers new and old on the horizon, Batgirl is more determined than ever to keep Gotham safe and protect the city from falling into chaos,” a press release said.

A show of the same name is being produced for the CW, which had a couple of cast members recently revealed: Fallon Smythe will play Harper Row (AKA Bluebird) and Tyler DiChiara will play Cullen Row, Harper’s brother.

Summary from CW: Following the murder of Bruce Wayne, his rebellious adopted son forms an alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they’re all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. With Gotham as dangerous as it’s ever been, the group of fugitives could be the city’s next saviors.
