Sony’s State of Play Returns With a 30-minute Showcase This Thursday

Today, Sony has announced that we are just two short days away from a new State of Play. On Thursday, February 25 at 2pm PT/ 5pm ET, Sony will release a 30-minute State of Play focusing on a whopping 10 titles coming to PS4 and PS5.

These 10 games will be new game announcements and updates on previously-announced games from third-party and indie studios. So, DO NOT go into it thinking we’re about to see Horizon: Forbidden West or anything like that. Also, the State of Play will focus solely on games. That means, there won’t be any PS5 hardware or software updates. So, the waiting game will continue for the millions of us unlucky enough to get their hands on a PlayStation 5.

Last week, Nintendo held a 50-minute Direct. This week, Sony is holding a 30-minute State of Play. With all this news, it’s a great time to be a gamer.
