Picks From the Rack: A-Force, Swamp Thing, and Uncanny X-Men

This week I picked up Uncanny X-Men #1 with a team being led by Magneto on a mission to save mutants even if it means saving them from themselves. Swamp Thing #1 brings Len Wein back to writing the character the helped create and it feels like the old times all over again. Spider-Man/Deadpool #1 put the wallcrawler and the merc with a mouth teaming again but reunites creative team Joe Kelly and Ed McGuiness again something I’m extremely happy about.  A-Force #1 returns to an ongoing title coming out of Secret Wars and BattleWorld which has singularity in a word with the faces of her friends but they don’t know who she is.

Every Wednesday is special to comic book fans, as that’s when new issues hit the rack at their favorite comic shops. Every week, we break down some of the newest releases on Picks From the Rack to help fellow fans and newcomers decide what’s worth spending their money on, and what should be left behind. All in one quick and convenient video format!
