Focal Point: The Bare Necessities

In these trying times it’s important to stick to only the essentials, and important concept in this week’s Focal Point comic!

We’re back this week with a new comic strip where we venture out into the world for the bare essentials:

I’m a sucker for LEGO toys and generally all things gaming. Even so, I’m still not entirely sure what to think about the LEGO Super Mario collaboration. There’s a BIG part of me that wants to pick it up and play with it, but there’s another part that thinks I won’t actually do anything with it.

Shelf space in my house, with my massive Star Wars collection, is always at a premium. In the effort of not overwhelming my office (or wallet) I try to limit my toy collecting to just Star Wars stuff. The exceptions are for toys/games I’ll actually take out of the box and play with/enjoy with the family.

Not sure if LEGO Super Mario, with a $60 starter set, is going to make that cut. This bares more deliberation…

You may have noticed we didn’t have a new comic last week! A bummer considering we’ve been on a roll since our return a couple months ago. Alas, some personal issues (such as my Air Conditioner literally exploding) I wasn’t able to get one drawn. Instead, I hope you enjoy the quick sketch of my misery…

Hope you enjoyed this one! If you did, be sure to check our last comic strip as well as all the previous ones! Also, you can hit up our YouTube Channel where we’re starting to post speed videos of how the comics are drawn.
